We hope you like secret compartments and crazy angles, because that’s what the collaboration between CRKT and decorated knife designer Princeton Wong has.
We’re looking at a fidgety anime-inspired flipper, and a front flipper with a secret wine cork.

Born from Wong’s childhood love of Gundam animes, the Nucleus is a snappy flipper with three different opening options, a reverse tanto blade, and a compound grind like we’ve never seen before.
Some notable features:
- Front flip and rear flip tabs, plus a large thumb hole in the blade;
- IKBS bearings in the pivot;
- Pocket clip with a ball catch;
- Frame lock with an overtravel stop.
It’ll be available in two versions:
- The standard with a 12C27 steel blade and a stainless steel handle with G10 overlays;
- The ultra-premium version with a Magnacut blade and a titanium handle with carbon fiber overlays (this one’s coming from Italy).
The Fial

An adaptation of Wong’s Fion design that won him Best New Maker at Blade Show 2021, the Fial is a front flipper with a corkscrew cleverly nested in the handle. You can access it by lifting the bolster piece and pulling the extra tool with a stud drilled into the base.
The Fial will come in two versions as well:
- One with a bead-blasted 12C27 steel blade, and a stainless steel handle;
- And the ultra-premium with an M390 blade and a titanium handle.
Both knives will be available on June 7, right as Blade Show is kicking off.
