Interestingly, the blade blanks for these knives are made in Solingen, Germany. A terminology that suggests some of the finishing edge work is being done in the Ka-Bar factory. Regardless, these knives feature a standard kitchen knife steel that has a reputation for toughness and easy maintenance in the kitchen.

They’re both available now from the Ka-Bar website.
